Dreadlock Removal Shampoo with White Grapefruit and Hempseed Oil
Whether you’re about to be banned from the house because of your new dreads, or you’ve had them a while and are simply ready for a change, Knotty Boy’s incredible Emergency Dreadlock Removal Shampoo helps to
restore your hair to its original condition - easily! Using the natural properties found in citrus peel, this gentle yet powerful shampoo dissolves Knotty Boy Dread Wax in dreads and softens them for easy removal, while hemp seed oil, grapefruit seed extract, and oat proteins restore moisture and nutrients that are essential for healthy, soft and
great-looking hair. Dreadlock Damage Control Deep Conditioner with Prickly Pear and Hempseed Oil
After thoroughly scrubbing with Knotty Boy Emergency Dreadlock Removal Shampoo, detangle and moisturize those dreads with our silky Knotty Boy Damage-Control Deep Conditioner for softer, easier to comb
through locks and ultimate hair-repair. Aloe vera extract soothes the scalp and hair follicles, while jojoba, hemp oil and panthenol smoothes, strengthens and conditions your knotty hair back to its previous, free-flowing form!
Both Shampoo and Conditioner may also be used repeatedly on non-dreaded hair for continued repair and conditioning.
Please note: You may require at least one day to work out your locks. It may seem like a long time, but it only makes sense for a hairstyle that takes several hours to create to take as much (or more) time to take out. At the end of the day, you will just be picking knots out of your hair. The Knotty Boy Emergency Removal Kit works
wonders allowing knots to be separated and combed through, but it's not magic, so the work is literally in your hands and a strong comb. Broken teeth are common. Not yours of course, on the comb! So don't get too
attached to it.
How do I use the removal kit?
There’s a pretty simple step by step here:
1) soak your hair in the hottest water you can handle
2) scrub your scalp and dreads with the shampoo
3) rinse out all those bubblies!
4) massage in the removal conditioner (do not rinse out)
5)starting at the bottom of your locks, pick out the knots using the pick
on a (preferably) metal tail-comb for a couple inches, then comb smooth
6) work your way up the dread to the root
TIP: hair is elastic when wet, and more maneuverable. Put some conditioner in a spray
bottle and add just enough warm water to not clog the nozzle. Use this to keep your hair wet during the removal process!
